Welcome!
I don’t know you, but I love you.
What do I mean by that? Well, I mean just that. I love you, even though I don’t know who you are.
I don’t know you, what you look like, or what you believe. In other words what race you are or what religion you are. Yet I love you anyway.
Now how can that be?
Well, it is because we are all essentially the same. Because you are me and I am you. Now I know you’ve heard that before. But it is really true.
Underneath our race and our religion we are all the same.
Just look at us. We all have two arms, two legs, two eyes, two ears, a nose and a mouth. We all breathe the same air. We all get up in the morning, go to bed at night. We all eat food to sustain us. We are all born and we all die. Yes, we are the same.
We are all human beings on this planet floating through space. Where do you live? On a street… in a town… in a city… in a country… on a continent… on this planet. We all live here. On Earth. The same place.
So why do we hate each other?
It is because we are taught that we are not all the same. And that we should not accept people that are different from us. In many communities around the world what is taught is ‘I don’t know you, but I hate you’ based on what others believe or look like.
We are not born with those ideas. We are born with just the opposite. We are born with the truth- that we are all the same. And without being taught to hate, we automatically love and accept. Our default is to unconditionally love each other. It is our natural state. We inherently know that we are all the same. Unless we are taught otherwise.
Hate is an idea that is taught. And it passes on from generation to generation. It grows and expands. And we are killing each other because of it.
But it doesn’t have to be this way...
Close your eyes and imagine that all the people in the world love each other. No matter what we believe, no matter what we look like.
Take 30 seconds…
See it in your mind…
If you you can imagine the idea in your mind, it can become a reality.
The truth is that without the deliberate introduction of hate, we automatically love each other.
So adopt this idea for yourself. Live with it. Carry it with you. Let it expand in you. Pass it on. With your friends, in your family, your workplace. Let it expand in your community. And around the globe.
